Tennis matches were held on outdoor clay courts at the Hungarian Grand Prix in 2022. The Budapest Grand Prix was a 250-level competition on the 2022 WTA Tour, and this was its 20th iteration. The tournament ran from July 11 through July 17 at the Római Tennis Academy in Budapest, Hungary.

2022 Hungarian Grand Prix Final Results, Score, And Champions

On Sunday, Bernarda Pera of the United States won the Hungarian Grand Prix by defeating Aleksandra Krunic of Serbia 6-3, 6-3. Pera, a qualifier who advanced to the tournament’s main draw, won her maiden WTA Tour singles victory this week without dropping a set. She is the fourth first-time victor and the third qualifier to win a WTA singles title thus far this season.

Fanny Stollár and Mihaela Buzărnescu were the reigning women’s doubles champions, but only Stollár decided to do so by teaming up with Tmea Babos. In the semifinals, Stollár was defeated by Kimberley Zimmermann and Katarzyna Piter. Piter and Zimmermann were defeated by Ekaterine Gorgodze and Oksana Kalashnikova in the championship match, 1-6, 6-4, [10-6].
