Fans have also said they don’t like Potter, with some saying he’s “not good enough for Chelsea” and “taking Chelsea in the wrong direction.” But Boehly and Eghbali, two of the club’s most important shareholders, had supported Potter in the past.
It’s not clear yet if the petition will get Potter fired, but the manager knows that the team’s performance needs to improve quickly if he wants to turn things around. “I know what I have to do. This club’s results are not good enough “he said after the game. “They don’t make me happy. I’m fully responsible for how things turned out.
