How much total money have Chelsea spent in transfer fee under Todd Boehly to buy string of players

Chelsea, however, is also prepared to break other records. By spending €326 million in the summer of 2019, the club will surpass Real Madrid’s previous mark for spending in a single transfer window. This is due to the signing of Caicedo.
Under Todd Boehly, how much money has Chelsea spent?
The staggering amount of money Chelsea has spent since Boehly and his pals assumed control of the Stamford Bridge team should not come as a surprise. Chelsea has nevertheless managed to spend at least €818.5 million on new players since last summer, even without taking Caicedo’s reported €133 million transfer to the club into account. And with that much, the club definitely reaches elite status.
That amount, for instance, is nearly twice as much as what second-placed Manchester United (€435m) spent on new players during the same time frame, while high-flying Arsenal are third with a sum of €423.5m.
However, the fact that Caicedo’s agreement will put Chelsea’s spending above all of La Liga’s transfer spending since last summer, more than the sum of Liga Portugal’s and the Eredivisie’s spending, may illustrate the tremendous breadth of the club’s investment.
Why can Chelsea spend so much?
Chelsea fans will be happy by the several new acquisitions made at the club over the previous year, while opposing supporters will be interested as to how Chelsea is able to spend so much money without violating UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations.
We can see some signs of the club’s attempts to balance the books from their transfer activity, even though the club’s accounting will go far further than player purchases and sales and even the lengthy contracts Chelsea has offered to new personnel.

Prior to being owned by Boehly & Co. in 2022, Chelsea had only spent €238.3m on transfers over the preceding five years. It placed them eleventh overall among the top European clubs during that time. And infers that the club made a significant effort to raise as much money from player sales as it did from the money it spent on new players.
Since then, Chelsea’s new owners have permitted the club to spend record amounts on player transfers while also seeking to uphold the club’s long-standing selling player policy. Since last summer, the club has received at least €321.7 million in player trades.
At the time, more than any other English team and the second-most in all of Europe after Ajax. Even while the club’s net spending currently tops all of Europe at €497 million, it is still only €108 million more than Manchester United.
Now that Caicedo is confirmed, that amount will now increase by two, but we can also anticipate that a number of players will depart the team before the transfer window closes in an effort to make up for it.
