Indian cricketers MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli have different levels of fan bases at the national and international levels, know their 10th and 12th marks and marksheet
Both of these exceptional cricketers did wonders with their batting styles and achieved tremendous fame and success as captains of the Indian Cricket Team.
As their fandom and scores touch millions of hearts, people are always keen to know every detail of these celebrities, from stats to personal lives. Additionally, the craze to know about their past also has no limit.
One of the most famous rumours is about the duo’s grades in their 10th and 12th grades. Know how much these two cricketers scored in their teens.
How many marks did Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni score in 10th and 12th board exams as marksheet is revealed by Kohli
When it comes to MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli’s academic performance, their stats had different scores.
MS Dhoni scored 66% in the 10th grade and 56% in the 12th grade. While he was in class 12, he would go to Ranchi to play cricket.
In September 2016, the biopic MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, which chronicled his life, was released. When paying a visit to Virender Sehwag’s school in Delhi, MS Dhoni also made the revelation.
Virat Kohli was not even a decent student, which was a problem for him back then. In math, Kohli performed poorly—he didn’t even reach the single-digit score out of one hundred. Kohli admitted that he had terrible math skills.
In 2019, Virat Kohli revealed in ‘In Depth with Graham Bensinger,’ “So, the highest grade we could receive on a math exam was 100, correct? I was so good that I used to get 3. And I didn’t comprehend why someone would want to study math at all. As I had never used those formulas in my life, I was unable to comprehend the complexities involved.”
He admitted that he thought mathematics was far more difficult than cricket. He just cared about passing Class 10, and since then he could decide whether to pursue math or not.
“I only wanted to pass my 10th-grade exam since they used to be state-level assessments, and after that, you could decide whether or not you wanted to continue with math.” I’m telling you, I’ve never studied as hard to pass an exam as I did in cricket,” he continued.
He has now gone onto share the marksheet of his 10th exams from 2004.
In the marksheet, one can clearly see him score well in English (83 out of 100), Hindi (75 out of 100) and Social Science (74 81 out of 100) but he did poorly in Mathematics (51 out of 100) and Science (55 out of 100).

For a young person, focusing equally on academics and cricket is really difficult. The legendary Sachin Tendulkar failed the 10th board exams and even decided not to retake them. Yet athletes like VVS Laxman, Anil Kumble, and Javagal Srinath excelled in both sports and academia.
Currently, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli are both doing things outside of the game. As the first match of the international series begins, Kohli will be eager to take the pitch. On the other side, MS Dhoni has taken almost a year off from playing cricket, and fans wonder what the future holds for the batsman.
