Noah Lyles vs IShowSpeed video
Noah Lyles and IShowSpeed recently featured in a video where the pair tested their speeds in an undisclosed location. The pair competed for speed supremacy across a 50m track length for a chance to win a $100,000 payout sponsored by Mr. Beast, the most followed YouTuber. As the pair dashed out, Speed and Lyles seemingly cancelled each other across the first 25 or so meters. However, around the 30m mark, Lyles found his form and swept past the 19-year-old Speed to claim victory. Following the end of the race, Lyles proceeded to offer Speed with some instructions and to run again during the weekend across a 100m track.
Lyles told Speed on the stream:
You should practice with me and then at the end of the week, we’ll race again….You’ll be faster, you’ll know what to do, you’ll have the techniques, you’ll have the advantage. And then we can run the real man’s race, the 100m.โ
IShowSpeed bragged about outshining Lyles in pure speed, stating:
I never ran track a day in my life,” Speed said. “Like, bro, in raw speed I’m faster than you. In raw speed.โ
However, Lyles wasnโt too convinced, and simply stated:
Are you?” Lyles wittingly responded….I didn’t even hit top speed. You tapped out with 30 meters to go. I was looking at you, bruh. Because I had that time, you know?โ
Earlier in a showdown with YouTuber KSI, IShowSpeed showcased his lightning-fast speed in a 100-meter foot race, leaving his opponent in the dust with a time of 12.80 seconds but his fastest speed hasn’t been measured and recorded officially as of yet.
Speed has also reportedly ran a 4.44-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine fan experience.
The fastest 40 time at the actual NFL Combine was set in April by Kansas City Chiefs receiver Xavier Worthy, who ran it in 4.21 seconds.
Noah Lyles who defeated Speed in the 50m dash meanwhile reached a top speed of 27.09 mph (or 43.6 km/h) for his 9.79-second run that won the gold medal at the 2024 Olympic Games.

IShowSpeed bio
IShowSpeed, real name Darren Watkins Jr., is a renowned streamer and who creates content on both YouTube and Twitch. Speed has over 33 million subscribers on YouTube and has become one of YouTubeโs most popular acts in recent years. Aside from gaining popularity for carrying out all kinds of shenanigans in his videos, he has also recently went viral for his athletic feats.
IshowSpeed raced Noah Lyles in a 50m race last night for a $100k prize money, which Mr Beast put forth. And though Lyles won, Iโm actually quite disappointed at how close this was, and the insistence of Speed that it was a tie is quite annoying. Should have roasted him bad ๐ pic.twitter.com/J2d6BEU9Hi
