On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, it was revealed that Hook would make his long-awaited in-ring debut in Rampage, which was taped right after this week’s Dynamite aired.

Hook faced Fuego Del Sol in a one-on-one bout, winning with his father’s famous submission manoeuvre, the Tazmission. Despite the fact that the bout was short, according to some witnesses, Hook looked impressive.

How It Began
Hook (actual name Tyler Senerchia) was welcomed into the AEW fold on the December 16, 2020 edition of Dynamite when he was introduced as the newest member of Team Taz. At the Nightmare Factory in Atlanta, GA, Hook was trained by QT Marshall and Cody Rhodes.
We can expect tremendous things from Hook if he’s even half as good as his father was during his ECW prime. Using the Taszmission as a finisher is a bold move, and we’re excited to see how Hook’s career develops.

Hook, 22, walked down to the ring to Action Bronson’s “The Chairman’s Intent,” and it was evident right away that he knew what he was doing. He entered the ring, standing in the corner facing away from his opponent. Hook’s father, Taz, was on commentary, adding to the majesty of the occasion.
The bout lasted little over three minutes, and while Fuego managed to score a few points, it was a one-sided affair, with Hook dominating and tossing Fuego around like a rag doll throughout. Hook reversed Fuego’s top-tope tornado DDT into a press slam at one point in a stunning display of strength.
Hook’s debut was so impressive that AEW president revealed shortly after Rampage ended that he had signed Hook to an official contract.
