Recently, reports emerged online indicating that the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes League have announced that Indian cricket team will participate in the forthcoming tournament, which is set to be held soon.

For the curious, Hong Kong Cricket Sixes 2024 is set to be held from November 1 to November 3 at 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM reportedly on all three days but the full schedule is yet to be revealed but there will be total of 23 matches. The HK6 is a six-a-side tournament, which is organized by the Cricket Hong Kong.
The Tin Kwong Road Cricket Ground in Hong Kong will host the tournament.
This year’s tournament will feature a total of 12 teams such as:

Pakistan Team,
Australian Team,
Bangladesh Team,
England Team,
Hong Kong Team,
Nepal Team,
New Zealand Team,
Oman Team,
South Africa Team,
Sri Lankan Team, and
United Arab Emirates Team.
About Hong Kong Cricket Sixes
The tournament which was launched in 1992 earlier went on a break after its 2017 edition, making this year’s tournament quite especial, as it is returning from its 7-year hiatus.
So far, the event has hosted legends like MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, Shane Warne, Shoaib Malik, Wasim Akram, Anil Kimble, Umar Akmal, Glenn Maxwell, Damien Martyn among many more.
Team Pakistan, England, and South Africa are among the most successful teams in the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes competition’s history, while India won the tournament in 2005.
In this thrilling competition, matches are contested between two teams of 6 players, with each side allowed a maximum of five overs. In the final, however, each team bowls five 8-ball overs instead of the usual six-ball overs.
The live telecast details are yet to be revealed of the tournament.

Deemed as the ‘fastest format’ of the game with every match of just 45 minutes
Every player from their teams, except the wicketkeeper, must bowl one over.
Wides and no-balls will count as 2 runs.
If 5 wickets fall before completing 5 overs, the last batter continues to bat with the fifth batter acting as a runner, always staying on strike. The innings concludes when the 6th wicket falls.
Batsmen retire upon reaching 31 runs but can return if all other players have retired or been dismissed.
Ticket Details
As per various reports, the tickets for HK6 are priced at $150 for Day 1, $250 for Day 2, and $350 for Day 3. A three-day pass is available at the cost of $580.
