The stadium will host the third test match of the Border Gavaskar trophy (BGT 2023) on March 1, 2023.
The Holkar Indore Cricket Stadium
The 3rd test match of the BGT 2023 was set to take place at the Dharamshala cricket stadium, Himachal Pradesh. However, due to the unavailability of sufficient grass in the outfield, there was a sudden change in the schedule.
The stadium held its last test match back in November 2019, between India and Bangladesh. India won with an inning and 130 runs. Now, after a gap of over 3 years, the Indore cricket stadium will now host another test match, check out the pitch report and other records.

This is especially due to its dimension measuring 68 meters at straight and comparatively low 56 m in square boundaries. It is one of the smallest grounds in the world. The last test match held at this venue featured a match-winning knock of 243 runs by Mayank Agarwal. He recorded a very impressive strike rate of 75 against Bangladesh.
