The new Hogwarts Legacy will feature amazing visuals from the combat to the RPG mechanics, and Xbox players can use the New Zealand release time trick to gain the early access a day earlier.
Hogwarts Legacy early access release date and time
Warner Bros. confirmed on the HogwartsLegacy Twitter account that Hogwarts Legacy early access will launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S at midnight local time for every region.
As such, 00:00 NZDT February 7 in New Zealand’s timing translates to 03:00 PST, 06:00 EDT, and 11:00 GMT on February 6. This means that the game will launch a day earlier than other regions in New Zealand.
How to perform New Zealand Xbox trick
Hogwarts Legacy fans who play with Xbox can make use of the New Zealand release time trick to play early access a day before on February 6.
Fans need to simply pre-order the Deluxe edition and follow the steps below to perform the NZ time trick:
- Select Settings
- Click System
- Proceed to Language and Location
- Change Location to New Zealand
- Reset Xbox console
Similarly, there is also a NZ trick for PlayStation, too, however it is seemingly not worth it. This is because fans who perform the NZ time trick, will have to create a separate NZ Profile and pay higher gift card prices.
How To Play Hogwarts Legacy Early Access and pre-order prices
In order to play the Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe edition early access, players need to obtain a pre-order package. According to the PSN store Fans can purchase the Deluxe edition of Hogwarts Legacy PS5 and Xbox Series X/S for £74.99/$79.99. For PC users, the game will cost £59.99/$69.99.
Besides the Deluxe package, the Standard edition is also available at the following prices:
- PS5 and Xbox Series X/S – £64.99/$69.99
- PC via Steam – £49.99/$59.99
Hogwarts Legacy Pre-order bonuses
Besides the 72-hours early access, the Deluxe edition also comes with the following pre-order bonuses:
- Dark Arts Pack
- Dark Arts Garrison Hat
- PS4 and PS5/Xbox One and Series X/S versions
Whereas the pre-order bonuses for every other edition of Hogwarts Legacy are as follows:
