The first and second installments were both directed and written by Sailesh Kolanu. Homicide Intervention Team is an abbreviation used in the title of the movie.

Plot of HIT: The Second Case
Krishna Dev, commonly known as KD, an affable police officer who works with AP HIT, is at the center of the movie’s narrative. He is compelled to take on the horrible murder case of a bar employee who was mutilated and brutally murdered at work.
A few days after discovering a killer, KD marries Aarya and submits a transfer request to Telangana. KD’s replacement, Arjun Sarkaar, shows up to congratulate him.
