The worse has finally unraveled for Afghanistan. After the five year period of Taliban rule, one which started in 1996, the country is back in the grips of the Islamic fundamentalist terrorist body.

USA’s backing away from the country like a dog stuttering away with its tail in between its legs allowed the Taliban leeway to finally unleash their reign of terror across the land. Sending ripples through the country as they gandered across the land, the terrorists spared no expense in killing, raping, murdering and kidnapping Afghans in a bid to grab full control of Afghanistan.
And with Pakistan, China and Turkey all lending their support to Taliban, one perfectly guised by these crass countries, the terrorist body grew in strength. As the Afghan army of 3,00,000 lakh surrendered and USA and the United Nations turned a blind eye to the turmoil in the country, the government in place had no bid but to flee the land and hand over the control of the country to Taliban.

Horrific visuals have emanated from the country ever since Kabul has been captured with scores of citizens trying to leave the country as the air space was shut down today. In the midst of the ongoing ruckus in his home land, spinner Rashid Khan sent out an appeal on Twitter as he urged for peace.
Kevin Pietersen has now gone onto reveal what is really going on in Rashid Khan’s mind with him detailing how the cricketer is in anguish as he fails to get his family out of the land.
“There’s a lot of things that are happening at home. We had a long chat here on the boundary talking about it and he’s worried: he can’t get his family out of Afghanistan and there’s a lot of things happening for him,” Pietersen said.
