Know more about Hell’s Paradise

The character of Gabimaru The Hollow, a former Shinobi who was executed for betraying his clan and resisting capture by the police, is the subject of the novel Hell’s Paradise. Although Gabimaru is emotionless and cold, he insists that he wants to be killed, yet no form of execution seems to work on him since, at the very last second, his body refuses to perish. Unfortunately, the enigmatic Sagiri, a famed executioner who has been keeping tabs on Gabimaru’s predicament, has been watching from the sidelines.

Gabimaru ultimately understands that he does want to live in the final minutes before Sagiri has him killed; if not for himself, then at least for the wife he left behind. The good thing is that Sagiri has an employment offer for Gabimaru that might end his miserable existence; the bad news is that things will get much worse prior to they get better.
