In the month of December 2023 four girls won medals in the DDA South District Taekwondo tournament, held at Siri Fort Sports Complex
Dr Sunita Godara – Asian Marathon Gold Medalist, HFT TFCI Project Director was the Guest of Honour of the Tournament.
TFCI Taekwondo team
1. Somdutt Bhardwaj (Chief Coach) Black Belt 5th dan
2. Juhi – Asstt Coach Black Belt
3. Vandana – National Medalist & Black Belt trainer one of the coach getting support from the TFCI CSR project.
Medal winners girls were:
1. Anushka won Gold medal. Her father does job in pvt. company and mother is housewife. She lives in Navjeevan Camp, Govindpuri, Kalkaji.
2. Ananya also won Gold Medal. Her father works in a Factory and mother is Housewife. She also lives in Navjeevan Camp, Govindpuri, Kalkaji.
3. Deepanshi won Silver Medal. Her father works as Bar man and mother is housewife. She also lives in Navjeevan Camp, Govindpuri, Kalkaji.4. Riya won Silver Medal. Her father is Salesman and mother is housewife. She lives in DDA Flats Kalkaji.
All 4 medal winner girls are going to represent South District in the state tournament in the month of February 2024.
These athletes were given a TFCI kit with winning gifts & vitamins supplements were given to support the training program.
