Gyeon-woo, trapped in Bong-su’s body, experiences Bong-su’s painful past. She also encounters school staff who shed light on his trauma. During the ghost hour, Sung-ah invites Gyeon-woo to help investigate why Bong-su became a ghost. As she uncovers the truth, her sympathy for Bong-su deepens. Yeom-hwa, realizing Bong-su doesn’t want to fully possess Gyeon-woo’s body, manipulates his emotions. Confused by Sung-ah’s true feelings, Bong-su gives in to Yeom-hwa’s lies.
Shaken and heartbroken, Bong-su starts losing control and asks to be called Gyeon-woo. He shares his tragic story at the student memorial and buries the silver ring. Later, he tries to curse Yeom-hwa, but it fails. It’s revealed that Sung-ah’s handkerchief was a protective amulet. Later, the Grim Reaper took her spirit mother’s soul, leaving everyone in tears.
