“He Is The Maharaja Of The Franchisee,” Brad Hogg Affirms MS Dhoni Will Stay At CSK After IPL 2022 Mega Auction

Speculations are rife on whether or not MS Dhoni will continue to be with CSK after the IPL 2022 mega auction

Chennai Super Kings is one of the most popular most successful franchises in the history of the Indian Premier League. CSK has an immense fan-following not just in the south but in the north and east too. One of the main reasons behind this huge fan-following of the franchise is their skipper and fans’ favorite MS Dhoni.

BCCI is set to host a mega auction before IPL 2022 so fans have started asking questions whether MS Dhoni will continue his relationship with CSK after the end of this season.

MS Dhoni retired from International cricket before IPL 2020 and then all questions had been raised over his last presence in the Indian Premier League as well. In CSK’s last league match of IPL 2020 when Danny Morrison asked MSD whether he is playing his last game or not MSD confidently replied that “Definitely Not”.

MS Dhoni will Stay with CSK For IPL 2022 Auction

“It will be after the 2021 IPL that the question of retirement will come, if at all and even if he retires, Dhoni will always be the mentor of CSK,” a source told TOI ahead of IPL 2020.

When CSK disagreed with this statement and said that in case, he will want to be auctioned then we will try to re-buy him by using RTM at a lower price.

“There will be a big auction before the 2021 IPL and Dhoni has already told us that he will play the tournament. So there’s no question of his retirement from the T20 version anytime soon.”

“Being the captain he is, Dhoni is ready to sacrifice money for the CSK because we know what Dhoni means to us. We may not let him go back to the auction pool,” he said.

In the second half of IPL 2021, MS Dhoni will look to continue his team’s good run and look to grab another title as a skipper of Chennai Super Kings. He was all set to release in the auction which was delayed due to Covid Pandemic before IPL 2021. So presently all things point towards only one thing that Dhoni will stay with CSK even after the IPL 2021.
