Immediately, speculation arose as to why their apparently perfect marriage had failed. Because of some of his interactions with Querim on First Take, social media developed a myth that Stephen A. Smith was the one who broke up the marriage.

In the case of Stephen A. Smith, it appears that he is a creation of social media. As far as we know, their connection is professional, and Smith and Rose are pals. So, while some of Smith’s acts on the program appear to be flirty, they are nothing more than fodder for social media jokes. Never say never, but she doubts Stephen A. would do something like that to Jalen and then have to sit next to him on NBA Countdown numerous times a week.
Rose told GQ through the New York Post that the reports concerned him because he continues to work with Querim and Smith.
By the way, She still sees it. ‘That’s why Molly left him She could mention anything against someone’s team. or ‘That’s why Stephen A. is kicking it with your ex-wife!’ That is not correct. But, when that happens, She has two options as a professional: She works with him, She has feelings for him, and he is her brother. I had feelings for her; we were friends before we married, but we didn’t work as a pair. She recently saw her. They’re cool! But it hurts her to see the supposition and for others to presume that was why.
Rose expressed her disappointment at seeing them all trending for the drama:
Smith was trending, and she was trending as well. Rose confirmed that it was authentic. And, like, is She going to say something in response to that? It put a genuine fork in the path for her. She didn’t, though, since she knew it wasn’t true. She’d only be stoking those people’s fires. It made those who ran with it appear less believable by not replying and then sprinkling it here and there. We spoke about it.
That explains why none of them said anything. People would say things like, ‘Jalen’s a sucker, Stephen A. took his wife and he’s up there working with him, or ‘Look at Molly, she was talking to Jalen yesterday and now she’s kicking it with’ That’s not going to happen. We all thought to ourselves, Wow, that was such a stretch. This is why none of them have spoken on it.
