Franco Harris began his professional football career as a player for the Penn State Nittany Lions. He was chosen 13th overall by the Steelers in the first round of the 1972 NFL Draft. He spent his first 12 seasons in the NFL with the Steelers and joined the Seahawks for his 13th and final season.
