He was in an accident earlier this week while trekking in Hawaii, an island state in the western United States.
His family is now doing everything they can to aid him from his hospital bedside, while simultaneously raising donations to pay for his medical needs.

The 18-year-old star was trekking with friends in Hawaii on Wednesday (16 August) when he was involved in an accident, according to his family. Caleb had been “living life to the fullest in Hawaii” until the event, according to his Instagram bio.
On Thursday (17 August), Jason’s TikTok account disclosed the accident. “Yesterday, Caleb was in a terrible accident,” Jason wrote beside three photographs of Caleb lying in a hospital bed.
While trekking, he fell from an 80-foot precipice onto lava rocks. Please remember him in your thoughts and prayers.” Caleb is shown with several scratches and bruises on his face, a neck brace, at least one of his arms in a pot, and various wires and tubes wrapped around his body in the photographs.
Chassy is trying to feed her son something with a spoon in one photograph, but Caleb appears to be in discomfort. “It’s a miracle he’s alive,” the caption reads.
