According to a statement from a family spokesperson, Bronny James, the oldest son of NBA star LeBron James, experienced cardiac arrest on Monday. He had a cardiac arrest while working out with the University of Southern California basketball team. He had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital.
According to reports, a call was made to 911 from the school’s Galen Centre. It is the place where the Trojans team plays and practises.
The Family Spokesperson Releases An Official Statement
The spokesperson said, “Bronny James had a cardiac arrest on July 24. Bronny was treated by medical personnel, who then transported him to the hospital. He is presently stable and out of the intensive care unit.”
The statement was released on July 25 and asked for privacy for the James family and further confirmed that the family will soon update the media regarding his health.
He said that LeBron James and Savannah James had sent their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.

The American Heart Association states that cardiac arrest happens when the heart “malfunctions and unexpectedly stops beating.” This is distinct from a heart attack, which occurs when the organ’s blood flow is cut off.
