Manchester United signed Harry Maguire on a six-year deal from Leicester City on 5th August 2019. The deal would keep the English centre-back at Old Trafford till August 2025. Maguire upon joining United said, “I am delighted to have signed for this great club. Such was his demand at the time, and his performances at the club since his arrival made him the captain of Man United within just six months. Even Liverpool paid 5 million pounds less for Virgil Van Dijk than what United spent on Harry Maguire.
