Harry Kane Accuses Daniel Levy Of Breaking Promise As Levy Spurns Latest £125m Bid From Manchester City

Daniel Levy is refusing to lower his expectations regarding Harry Kane with Manchester City’s latest staggering bid being sent packing by the Tottenham bigwig

He’s known to be a stubborn man, one of the toughest people to negotiate with in the Premier League and Tottenham’s head honcho, Daniel Levy is showing just why. Manchester City’s pursuit of striker Harry Kane is turning out to be way more difficult than the club had envisaged with Levy refusing to let Kane free of his shackles.

What had further strengthened Levy’s resolve is the horrid performance City put on when they visited the Tottenham Hotspur stadium last week. That 1-0 defeat on the day for the defending champions emoted towards how bare they are up the park with the side failing to compensate for the departure of Sergio Aguero.

Spearheaded by that conviction, Daniel Levy went onto reject a nearly worked, 125 million pound offer from Manchester City for Harry Kane. Its left the striker seething with him yearning to depart the club and ply his wares for City.

Kane is also said to be livid with Levy’s backing away from a promise he had made to the Englishman back in 2019. Kane and Levy are believed to have agreed upon a gentleman’s promise two years back, one which would see Kane be allowed to leave if Tottenham didn’t overhaul their barren trophy run.

While Kane is adamant on leaving the club, manager Nuno Espirito Sanchez talked about how the striker was back to training and he was looking forward to having Kane at the club. While it seems unlikely that Kane will stay with Tottenham for long, the club is already preparing for life without him with the side having turned its attention to Adama Traore.
