People are very excited about the rumour that McDonald’s Halloween Happy Meal buckets will be back in 2022
At the time I’m writing this, it hasn’t been confirmed by the fast-food chain itself, but some insiders say the cute pails are coming in October.

The popular boxes, which have Halloween shapes like pumpkins and ghosts, came out for the first time in 1986.
Since the 1970s, when kids ordered a Happy Meal around Halloween, they no longer got their food in a cardboard box.
But the scary boxes haven’t come out in a few years, which makes people miss them and look forward to their rumoured return in 2022 even more.
McDonald’s was asked if the Halloween buckets were coming back, but they didn’t respond. In the meantime, here are all the rumours:

McDonald’s Halloween Bucket Rumors 2022
Markie Devo, a foodie who has more than 72,000 followers on Instagram, said that the Halloween buckets might come back in 2022.
“Confirmed by a few of my inside sources, plus a memo shared with me from @halloweenloversclub, the McDonald’s Halloween Pails will return this Halloween,” he has written.
He also said that he has talked to McDonald’s but hasn’t gotten “direct confirmation” yet. But that the popular Happy Meal buckets are said to be coming back.
“Does this make you feel like a big kid?” Because “mine is sure as hell doing jumping jacks,”. He added, and the post has gotten over 42,000 likes.
This doesn’t mean for sure that the buckets are coming back. But Markie was right about the Starbucks Fall Menu, which he predicted back in July.
The Instagram user gave the correct date that the popular Pumpkin Spice Latte would come back in 2022, and he also gave the correct names of the new drinks on the Fall Menu.
Here’s What People Say McDonald’s Halloween Box Looks Like!
In the original post, the Instagram user said, “unsure what they look like.” Since then, he has posted a picture of what he says are Halloween buckets.
Here’s your first look at the 2022 Halloween Pails from McDonald’s. “Again, I have to say that McDonald’s has not yet confirmed these,” he said with an emoji of a winking face.
In the picture he shared, there are three Happy Meal buckets that look like jack-o’-lanterns. There is an orange pumpkin bucket, a white ghost bucket, and a green goblin bucket.
They look a lot like the pails we’ve seen in the past. But the lids have been redesigned to sit on top of the buckets in a different way.
Markie claims they’ll be available on October 18, but this is just a rumour and has yet to be confirmed.
