In a response to which, singer’s boyfriend DDG took to X and wrote in now deleted post that “This place is racist towards black people. They kicked my girlfriend out while doing her nails…please give them a 1 star.. they don’t deserve business.”

What Did Salon Owner Said?

Halle later took to Snapchat to share her side of the story, recounting that she arrived 15 minutes late but was initially accommodated. However, when she mentioned Chloe’s additional delay, she claimed to have been asked to leave. DDG continued to support her, alleging racism and encouraging negative reviews.

The salon owner, responding to the backlash, posted a video on Instagram explaining that the sisters were excessively late and that the salon was fully booked. She denied any racial bias and expressed fear for her business due to the sudden influx of negative reviews.

Halle defended her loyalty as a customer, criticizing the owner’s behavior as “rude” and “unacceptable.” Despite moving to a different salon for their nail services, Halle did not address DDG’s actions, leading to further criticism.
