For the unsure, earlier, social media platforms, such as X/Twitter, Instagram, and Reddit, have been buzzing non-stop with viral mems of Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Virat Kohli, Akshay Kumar, among many more.

Recently, Bollywood’s King, Shah Rukh Khan become a subject of trolls after the ticket booking website Book My Show listed the actor’s upcoming movie titled “King.” Though, the movie is still in production state, as the shooting of the film has just begun, it already broke the trends and boosted the significant traffic of the ticketing website as the loyal fans of Khan has been continuously hyping the film.
Though, with the hype, trollers also came in, as they started trolling the actor by spamming his Instagram account with offensive comments and sharing derogatory GIFs, from including personal moments to the most memorable moments of his movies.
Social media users were busy trolling and spamming Khan’s Instagram photos as they flooded his comment section with offensive comments like ‘Hakla translated to stammerer,’ etc. The comments were accompanied by a meme of Shah Rukh Khan with a Mohawk and ponytail hairstyle along with him laughing in his traditional style, a GIF which has since gone viral as the Hakla Shahrukh meme since with Duolingo and various famous Instagram accounts hopping in on the trend as well.
However, Instagram was quick to take down the GIF with the meme vanishing from comments on the platform with many claiming this was done by the actor’s PR to protect his image. SRK has over the years been trolled as hakla, a term used to make fun of his K-K-Kiran dialogue, one where the actor is stammering as he delivers his now infamous dialogue. The meme has also inspired similar GIFs of Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan and Uorfi Javed with all trending in Instagram comments.

Though, at the time of writing this piece, most of the memes and GIFs have been removed by Instagram and X. However, many new ones are now being shared and created with users starting a chain trend of “Hakla Never Dies,” as many are spamming the comments section with the phrase along with creating a new version of the Hakla meme, one created with dots in an order to beat Instagram repeatedly deleting the comments.
With Khan’s memes and GIFs going viral on the social media, many users hopped in on the trend as they shared their own version of memes, with many sharing memes of Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Virat Kohli, and even Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Baba Ramdev, Rahul Gandhi, etc. The memes were titled Suja Salman, Akki Banana and the likes as these figures were trolled in various manners akin to the Shah Rukh Khan meme.
