Broken and bruised, the woman shared information about her abusive husband and toxic relationship on LinkedIn. She identified the attacker as Soutik Ganguly, who worked for the travel-focused software development firm Atlys.
According to her post, Soutik was imperious, always claiming he was too busy and said he ran Atlys because the CEO, his friend Mohak Nahta is incompetent. He said Elevation Capital and Peak XV Partners were funding Atlys for him, he’d secure his exit, and his role made him irremovable from the board.
She also revealed that his father is a high-ranking Air Force officer and he arrived in uniform, trying to use his influence.
Two years ago, she began interacting with Soutik Ganguly on Instagram. Before describing how her relationship was characterized by insults, harassment, and violence, she wrote, “He seemed intriguing, but when we met in Delhi, he looked nothing like his photos.”
“Once intoxicated and alone, he snapped… He slapped me black and blue, pulled my hair, slammed my head into the wall, and kicked me. I tore his shirt, bit his hand, fought back, but he was stronger. He choked me until I could barely breathe”, she added.
Never ever ignore the first red flag, specially if the red flag is any form of abuse. Never ever accept or forgive abuse, it'll only get worse. Physical or verbal, never ever tolerate abuse. https://t.co/NC4AoMd090

When Paul pleaded with him to stop, Soutik walked away grinning and saying something startling, which she cited in her post, “Teri aukaat bhi nahi hai.” Learn your manners, or I’ll get you pregnant and marry you if you try to leave.”
“Soutik was furious, demanding marriage and children”, she noted.
The LinkedIn post claims that three weeks ago, when she told him she had been accepted to her chosen university in Berlin, her boyfriend started acting abusively.
She mentioned that she is in pain both psychologically and physically, and she has bruises all over her body. However, the fact that the system is set up to help males like him traumatizes her more.
She further revealed that during their relationship, Soutik Ganguly was living with another woman in Gurgaon and has been in a relationship with her for five years. Last year, he impregnated her twice, forcing her to undergo surgeries after the pregnancy.
Paul works in Brand Communications at Leo Burnett, a role she’s held since 2023. She comes from a business family and is also the Director at Paulson Hotel and Resorts. She went to the Fergusson College where she did completed her Psychology degree and had gone to the Lycée La Martinière Monplaisir High School previously. Based in Gurugram, she describes herself as a Marketeer, hotelier and Intrapreneur.
