The much-anticipated film event in Tollywood right now is the pre-release event of Mahesh Babu’s “Guntur Kaaram,” which also marks the unveiling of the trailer but a new date and time for the event isn’t known

Originally scheduled for January 6th at Yousufguda Police Grounds, the event got postponed due to the denial of permission by the police.

Efforts are being made to secure permission for January 8^th, but there is hesitation from insiders, including director Trivikram, who considers it inauspicious based on numerology.

As a result, the potential date is being shifted to the 9^th, which happens to be a Tuesday, posing another astrological challenge. However, police permission for any of these dates is still pending.

Reason For Delay In Permission

Reports suggest that the chaos caused by film enthusiasts following the Bigg Boss Pallavi Prashanth incident is a cause for concern among the police, influencing their decision to withhold permission.

Simultaneously, suggestions have been made to hold the event indoors at a function hall with limited fan attendance, but the filmmakers are inclined towards a grander event, causing apprehension among the police.

Thaman S composed the score and soundtrack, with Manoj Paramahamsa as the cinematographer and Naveen Nooli as the editor. “Guntur Kaaram” is set to hit theaters worldwide on January 12, 2024, coinciding with Sankranti.
