According to rumoured reports, developers of GTA, Rockstar Games are all set to announce the release dates for their GTA very soon later this year. Rumours indicate that Rockstar Games could unveil and announce the release date for GTA 6 in September or October 2023. Tez2, who is one of the most renowned Grand Theft Auto insiders also suggested this timeframe earlier this year. The rumours suggest that Rockstar could announce the release date during Grand Theft Auto 5 and Online’s upcoming 10th anniversary. However, all of these is merely speculation and nothing is confirmed as of now.
Take-Two Interactive announces massive revenue expectations
Moreover, Take-Two Interactive, who are Rockstar Games’ parent company, also announced massive financial expectations for Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25). They made these announcements during their earnings calls earlier this year in May and again in August. Strauss Zelnick, who is the CEO of Take-Two repeatedly stated that FY25 will be one of their most successful periods, anticipating an $8bn Net Bookings revenue.
While neither Take-Two nor Strauss Zelnick stated the reason behind these expectations GTA 6 seems to be the only thing that could generate such an income considering all things. As such, fans can expect GTA to eventually release by 2024, which means that Rockstar Games will likely announce the title in the coming months.
