Milojević, a crucial member of the coaching staff that helped the Warriors win the NBA championship in 2022, passed away in Utah on Wednesday at the age of 46.

He was born on 15 April 1977 in Belgrade, SR Serbia, Yugoslavia. Later, he was brought to the suburb of Padinska Skela. Although Milojević kept most of his private life private, it is thought that he had a happy family life. His career

Dejan Milojevic started playing basketball at KK Tašmajdan when he was 13 years old. There, he showed off his supremacy by recording a game-winning 141 points in a cadet game in 1991. After beginning his professional career in 1994 with Beovuk, he went on to play a crucial part at FMP Železnik (1998–2000), where he won the league MVP award in 1999.

Milojevic joined Budućnost in 2000 and went on to win many league MVP titles and achieve success. His impactful stint continued at Partizan (2004–2006), where he secured his third MVP season in 2003–04.

He won the EuroBasket in 2001 and helped Yugoslavia win gold internationally in 1998. Following his retirement, Milojević turned to coaching, and from 2012 to 2020, he guided Mega Vizura to victory. During his coaching career, he developed players, including NBA draft picks.

Milojevic led Budućnost to the League Championship and Montenegrin Cup in 2021, and he then became an assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors. His coaching influence helped the squad win the NBA Finals in 2022.
