2022 Grand Slam of Darts Darts Results Today, Winners, Scores, Quarterfinal Updates, Draw, & Playing Line-up
On a thrilling Friday night in Wolverhampton, Van Barneveld, playing in his first televised quarterfinal since November 2019, came back from an 8-3 deficit to knock out world number one Price. Van Barneveld will now compete against Michael Smith for a spot in Sunday night’s championship match after Smith overcame 15-13 deficit to defeat Joe Cullen in a thrilling final-leg match. Against Saturday night, the quarterfinal lineup will be finalized when Nathan Aspinall, the runner-up in the World Grand Prix, takes on Alan Soutar and three-time winner Michael van Gerwen faces Luke Humphries.
Thanks to legs of 13 and 12 darts, Van Barnevald extended his lead to 13-10. Price then faltered on the outer ring, and Van Barnevald pinned double four to get within two legs of a historic triumph. With the help of 12-dart break in leg 26, Price came back to make the score 13–14. But just as reigning champion Price was about to tie the game at 14 all, Van Barneveld sunk a calm 71 finish on tops to pull ahead by one leg and then finished off a brilliant performance with a 13-darter.
Elsewhere, in the last-leg shoot-out, Smith had the benefit of throwing, and despite Cullen hitting the 11th maximum at the right time to set up a potential two-darter, Smith clinched his advancement with a 76 finish on tops to secure his spot in Sunday’s semi-finals.

Prize Money Pool Distribution of 2022 Grand Slam of Darts
The Grand Slam of Darts winner in 2022 will receive £150,000 in prize money, while the runner-up will receive £70,000. Each contender will get at least $5,000 of the £650,000 in net rewards. This year’s prize pool is bigger than last year’s prize pool, which was £550,000. After losing in the quarterfinal stage, Gerwyn Price and Joe Cullen will each receive £25,000.

From November 12 to November 20, this competition will be held at the Aldersley Leisure Village in Wolverhampton. The quarterfinal matches, including Michael van Gerwen vs. Luke Humphries, that are still planned for Saturday, can be watched by spectators.
