In the Cazoo Grand Slam of Darts quarterfinals, Raymond van Barneveld and Gerwyn Price will rekindle their rivalry after winning their respective thrilling last-16 matches on Wednesday in Wolverhampton.

In a grueling match, reigning champion Price overcame Danny Noppert after falling down 8-6. Meanwhile, Van Barneveld stunned Simon Whitlock with a remarkable comeback after falling behind 5-2. Following an outstanding show of double, in which he succeeded with a 100 average on ten of his thirteen attempts, Price, a three-time Wolverhampton champion, grabbed six of the final seven legs. Price will now play 2012 champion Van Barneveld in a rematch of their dramatic Group A match from earlier in the competition, where the top seed lost despite averaging 106.
After eliminating Rob Cross and Dirk van Duijvenbode, respectively, on a night of action of the highest caliber, Michael Smith and Joe Cullen will also compete for a spot in Sunday’s semi-finals. Smith completed a valiant 10-8 victory by holding off Cross’ late onslaught to advance to a fourth straight Grand Slam quarterfinal. Meanwhile, Cullen advanced to his first Grand Slam quarterfinal with a commanding 10-4 victory over Dirk van Duijvenbode, continuing his quest for a second televised championship in 2022.

Prize Money Pool Distribution of 2022 Grand Slam of Darts
The Grand Slam of Darts winner in 2022 will get £150,000 in prize money, and the runner-up will receive £70,000. Each competitor will receive atleast $5,000 out of the £650,000 in net awards. The prize pool for this year is higher than the £550,000 prize pool from last year. After losing in the Round of 16 stage, Danny Noppert and Rob Cross will each receive £12,250.

From November 12 to November 20, this competition will be held at the Aldersley Leisure Village in Wolverhampton.
