2022 Grand Slam of Darts Darts Results Today, Winners, Scores, Day 2 Schedule, Fixtures, & Playing Line-up
The Group D matchup between Rob Cross and Dirk van Duijvenbode will take place on Sunday afternoon following their successful initial matches in Wolverhampton. 2018 World Champion Cross overcame a two-leg deficit against Czech teenager Adam Gawlas to win 5-2, averaging over 100 as he nailed legs of 11 and 12 darts among five consecutive frames. Van Duijvenbode prevailed 5-4 in a nail-biting Group D opening despite Martin Schindler missing the match dart, averaging 103 in a superb performance.
At the Aldersley Leisure Village, reigning champion Price is vying for his fourth Grand Slam title, and on Saturday afternoon, he blasted past Ted Evetts 5-1 in his opening Group A match. The 2012 Grand Slam winner Van Barneveld, in contrast, started his Group A challenge with a 5-3 comeback victory over Dave Chisnall. Michael van Gerwen, a three-time Grand Slam champion, defeated Nathan Rafferty of Northern Ireland by a score of 5-2 while averaging over 102 and missing just one dart at a double.
Following their victories on the opening day in Wolverhampton, countrymen Peter Wright, the world champion, and Alan Soutar created an all-Scottish tie in Group E. In a 5-1 victory over Women’s World Matchplay champion Fallon Sherrock, Wright completed five doubles out of 11 attempts. By limiting North American Champion Leonard Gates to only one attempt at a double in their Group F opening, Jonny Clayton provided the lone whitewash victory of the day.

Prize Money Pool Distribution of 2022 Grand Slam of Darts
Prize money for the Grand Slam of Darts includes £150,000 for the victor and £70,000 for the loser. From a total net prize pool of £650,000, each contender will receive a guaranteed cash payment of $5,000. The reward pool this year is more than the prize pool from previous year, which was £550,000.
