Fans from Arizona recently held a vigil aka gooneral in honour of ‘Goonlord’ Nautica Malone, who reportedly died by ‘goonicide’ after being caught exposing himself at the Bikini Cafe drive-thru

Nautica Malone recently went viral following a video showing him driving up to Bikini Beans Coffee drive-thru before taking his own life.

Following the shocking incident, his family reportedly confronted the staff, stating that he took his life “over the incident”.

Nautica Malone commits suicide after viral clip

Just earlier this month, a video of Nautica Malone at the drive-thru went viral. The incident reportedly took place at a Bikini Beans Coffee location in Tempe, Arizona. The coffee shop is seemingly famous for its workers who wear bikinis. The viral clip shows Malone driving up to the shop without any pants on before an employee noticed his actions and alerted her manager. The manager seemingly caught the interaction on video and posted it online. Malone eventually killed himself on January 11, by shooting a gun to the head in his car.

Goonlord Nautica Malone vigil

On Sunday, January 26, a large group of people gathered outside the Bikini Beans Coffee shop in Tempe, Arizona. The group gathered to pay tribute to Malone, whom they called the “Goonlord”. According to a poster advertising the event, Nautica Malone was reportedly a fellow “Gooner”.

The Gooneral, also known as Bikini Cafe Drive-Thru Gooneral or Goonlord Vigil, refers to a vigil held for Nautica Malone who has been refereed to as a gooner who committed suicide after his video went viral, also refereed to as goonicide.

The words “goon”, “gooning”, and “gooners”, which took over the internet last year, refers to act of constant, nonstop s*xual self-gratification. Based on the videos shared on social media, the event saw a large turnout, with some folks dubbing it is a “gooneral” in honour of Nautica who committed “goonicide”. A YouTuber called Ayazi shared a live stream of the event, whci showed the police dispersing the crowd about 30 minutes into the vigil.

Gooneral meanwhile is a combination of funeral and gooner in reference to Nautica’s funeral.

Bikini Beans Coffee founder Ben Lyles speaks out

Following the incident, Bikini Beans Coffee founder Ben Lyles called Malone’s death a “tragic” death. However, he reminded everyone how he committed a crime when he decided to expose himself to employees at the café. Lyles stated:

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the individual involved during this difficult time. This was an unfortunate and tragic situation. As a company, the safety of our employees is always our top priority.”

He added:

In this case, an individual chose to commit a crime at one of our locations. We take incidents like this very seriously and remain committed to protecting our team and maintaining a safe and respectful environment.”

Nautica Malone bio

According to his obituary that his family posted online, age 28 Malone was reportedly a “devoted husband” and “a loving father”. He was married to his wife Victoria Malone and had two children together Nahlia, and Vaughn Malone. His obituary describes Nautica as a man of integrity, kindness, and generosity. Malone reportedly liked to spend his time watching the Phoenix Suns play basketball and brushing up on his HVAC knowledge.
