As per reports, the makers of Golden Kamuy will be delaying the episodes 43 to 49 i.e, Season 4, episode 7 to 13.

The reason for the delay is said to be the sudden death of a main staff member.
For those who aren’t familiar with the series, let us tell you, the anime has made an impressive start with its season 4.
As of now, there are only 6 episodes available for the ongoing season, however, the anime has scored an incredible rating of 8.32/10 on MyAnimeList.
After the highest rating from the platform, the series has become the 6th highest scored series of the Fall slate.
However, the beloved show will be going on a indefinite hiatus following the sudden demise of a main staff member of the series production.
On November 8, the official website for the Golden Kamuy anime confirmed as they released a statement announcing that the scheduled broadcast of episodes 43 to 49 would be postponed.
The production team of the anime series released a statement while explaining the reason behind the hiatus.
The statement reads, “We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of one of our main staff members, who was indispensable to the production of our works.
“The Golden Kamui Production Committee and Brains Base have decided to take this matter into consideration for future broadcasts.”
In another post, the team revealed that they will be postponing the episodes and will be changing the distribution dates.
The post reads that the production team of the anime series will, “announce the new broadcasting and distribution dates and the Blu-ray & DVD release date on our official website and official Twitter as soon as the details are decided.”
In another post the staff has revealed the broadcast changes. Here’s the changes made by the production house for the broadcast dates such:
November 14 – OAD Vol 1, Mysterious, Mysterious Giant Bird
November 21 – Episode 37
November 28 – Episode 38
December 5 – Episode 39
December 12 – Episode 40
December 19 – Episode 41
December 26 – Episode 42
As of now the production team hasn’t revealed the identity of the staff member who is reportedly passed away or the new release dates.
