Globe Soccer Awards European Edition 2024 full winners list and results

A special edition of the Globe Soccer Awards, titled the “European Edition,” celebrated the best in European football with the full 2024 winners list now out

For the unfamiliar, the ceremony featured numerous prestigious awards, including Best Club of the Year, Best Coach of the Year, and Best Player of the Year among many more.

The official Globe Soccer Awards site described the European Edition awards as follows, “Continuing the tradition of the International Globe Soccer Awards, we are proud to present the KAFD Globe Soccer Awards – Europe edition, taking place on the beautiful shores of Sardinia, Italy.”

This marks the inaugural edition of the European Globe Soccer Awards.

Traditionally, the flagship ceremony takes place in Dubai during the winter, honoring the achievements of the world’s top clubs and players from the previous year.

Atalanta has been named the first-ever recipient of the Revelation Award.

Additionally, La Dea were contenders for the Best Men’s Club award but were edged out by Premier League champions Manchester City. Inter Milan was the only other Serie A team nominated in this category.

Best European Player of the Year

PSG star Kylian Mbappé took home this award. In his acceptance speech, he expressed gratitude to his team and fans, praising PSG as “the best team in France.”

Best Coach of the Year

Xabi Alonso was honored for leading Bayer Leverkusen to a historic undefeated domestic double.


Best Men’s Club of the Year

Manchester City earned this title after securing their fourth consecutive Premier League championship.

Best Women’s Club of the Year

Barcelona claimed this award in the women’s category.

Top Scorer of the Year

Harry Kane, the prolific striker for Bayern Munich, received this accolade.

Breakthrough of the Year

Atalanta was recognized for their Europa League victory.

Emerging Player of the Year


Barcelona’s young talent, Lamine Yamal, was honored as the standout emerging player.

For the unversed, the Globe Soccer Awards, also known as the Dubai d’Or Awards, recognize achievements in football.

Organized by Globe Soccer, this annual event takes place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and involves notable contributions from the Arab community in Dubai.
