On December 18, Rushindra Sinha, the founder of Global Esports, announced the news on X (formerly known as Twitter). As per the Tweet, five BGMI and Valorant players from India are being sought after by Global Esports, who are willing to commit to a 12- to 18-month competition period for the title of their choice.
In addition to receiving all the facilities, training, and resources required to develop into the best competitive athletes imaginable, the chosen players will probably not get a wage. Five BGMI and Valorant players from across the nation who are prepared to commit a full year or a year and a half to compete in any of the competitions they choose will be hired by Global Esports.
How to apply for the Global Esports Academy?
To apply to the academy, one would only need to go to the registration page and complete the form. Basic details like name, age, email address, phone number, city, game title, peak rank, in-game name, passport availability, and request for relocation are required on the application form.
By completing the enrollment form, anyone can apply to be included on these academy rosters. Global Esports lists “Hunger To Win” as the only prerequisite, but it also has a few extra requirements that might not be ideal for everyone.
What are the requirements for the Global Esports Academy?
As mentioned before, neither Valorant nor BGMI mention any formal duties of this nature. However, some aspiring athletes may find a lot of general requirements to be excessive.
- Players should not expect any salary. (They will receive the facilities, training, and resources they need. Select players who put in a lot of effort are guaranteed money and fame by GE.)
- Players must be prepared to commit a minimum of 12 to 18 months to esports exclusively.
