2022 Gibraltar Darts Trophy First Round Results, Winners, Score, Day 2 Schedule, Date, Time, Venue, & Other Details
This year’s penultimate PDC European Tour competition is taking place at Gibraltar’s Victoria Stadium, with $140,000 in prize money and spots in the upcoming Cazoo European Championship up for grabs. In highlight match of first day, Bunting defeated Gurney 6-3 while averaging 105.31 to advance towards second round of the competition. As the event’s seeded stars begin their campaign on Saturday, Bunting will face Jonny Clayton in the second round at Victoria Stadium in a mouthwatering match.
Galliano, meanwhile, will lead Gibraltarian aspirations into round two after defeating Mario Vandenbogaerde 6-2 to earn his maiden European Tour victory at the age of 21. On Saturday, Galliano was scheduled to go to work as a police officer, but he has been given the day off to get ready for his ideal match against World Champion Peter Wright.
After securing 6-1 win over his first-round opponent, Chris Dobey sealed his spot in second round of Gibraltar Darts Trophy. Mensur Suljovic, who defeated Keegan Brown with ease on Friday, will face Gerwyn Price in a rematch of 2021 final during Saturday’s second round. Elsewhere, Gabriel Clemens of Germany defeated Adam Hunt 6-2 after rallying from a leg down and will now face Dimitri Van den Bergh.
After the second round on Saturday, Gibraltar Darts Trophy will continue on Sunday with the round of 16, followed by the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final in a lengthy nighttime session. For the event, tickets can be purchased by fans from here.

Prize Money Pool Distribution of 2022 Gibraltar Darts Trophy
The prize money for 2022 Gibraltar Darts Trophy winner will be £25,000, more than double the £10,000 that will go to the runner-up. There will be a net prize pool of £140,000 and a guaranteed cash reward of £1,000 for each contender.
