Price and Humphries were among the big winners on Day Two of the Interwetten German Darts Grand Prix, as six seeds were eliminated following a jam-packed day of play at the Zenith Kulturhalle. After winning the European Darts Open and International Darts Open back-to-back, Price delivered another astronomical average in his 6-2 victory over Dutch legend Van Barneveld.
Humphries, who missed the previous two tournaments due to illness, won his first match back on the European Tour by defeating Jeffrey de Zwaan by a score of 6-2 while averaging 99. Nonetheless, Lee Evans’ 6-1 victory over world No. 2 Peter Wright represented the biggest upset of the day as he qualified for round three. Horvat’s elimination from the competition was followed by those of Martin Schindler, Gabriel Clemens, & Liam Maendl-Lawrance, making it a terrible day for the four German participants in Munich.

Prizes worth $175,000 will be given away at the 2023 Interwetten German Darts Grand Prix with £30,000 scheduled to be reward for the champion, while the runner-up will earn £12,000.
