As per reports, Barcelona’s defender seems to have moved on as he is already seeing someone new.
Gerard Piqué Dating Young PR Student
The 35 year-old player is reportedly moved on with a woman named Clara Chia Marti. As per a report by The Mirror, Clara is a 23 year-old PR student who works for him.
Reportedly, the pair have grown close since his split with Shakira. Clara works for the media investment group Kosmos. The couple allegedly met whilst organizing an event together.
In a report published by The Sun, the publications claimed that a source told them the couple is dating for “months” but have been trying to keep it “quiet” following his very public split.
According to an insider, “Gerard and Clara have been seeing each other for months. They have been keeping quiet about their relationship but those around them all know what is happening.
People have been helping him keep the romance hush-hush and have wiped Clara’s social media accounts so people can’t find photos of her.
That alone makes his mates think he is actually quite serious about being with her,” they continued. “She is a student who also works for him in his office, organising events”.
Shakira and Gerard Split
The couple split in early June after spending years together. They first met in 2010 when the player featured in her Waka Waka music video which was the official song of Fifa World Cup in 2010.
The duo instantly hit it off. However, they didn’t confirm their relationship officially until March 29, 2011. Although they were in a long and happy relationship, they didn’t make it down to the aisle.
However, the duo had two children together. In 2012, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child. They named their baby Milan Piqué Mebarak, who was born on January 22, 2013.
Two years later, the couple again announced on Facebook that they were expecting another baby. The Hips Don’t Lie singer gave birth to a daughter on January 29.
