35-years-old veteran Spanish defender who plays for FC Barcelona has acquired the broadcasting right of Ligue 1 through his company Kosmos Holding. This will allow Pique’s company to broadcast Ligue 1 matches in Spain ahead of Messi’s debut.
It comes as a surprise after Pique agreed on a significant pay cut with the club as they were not able to register their new signings. Meanwhile, the club is negotiating with Umtiti, Roberto, Busquets, Jordi Alba, and Ousmane Dembele to accept lower wages.
