Genshin Impact leaks 2022: Confirm new Dendro Reactions Details

Overgrown and Intensified have the following effects:

Overgrown:

When Hydro and Dendro collide, some seeds fall to the ground and grow into mushrooms. When these mushrooms come into touch with Hydro, they burst and deliver AoE Dendro DMG.

Intensified:

When Electro comes into contact with Dendro, an Electro energy particle is released. Furthermore, during a period of 7 seconds, the Electro and Dendro damage dealt with afflicted foes are enhanced.

Naturally, players have a lot of questions regarding how these new reactions work. One of these players inquired about the Overgrown reaction’s impact on both the adversary and the player. It turns out that the reaction has an impact on both.

Will Genshin Impact players be disappointed by the Overgrown reaction?

It’s crucial to note that Overgrown does not have an effect on players every time they trigger it. Instead, it acts like any other reaction in the game, causing damage only if an opponent can use Hydro and Dendro at the same time.

Because Hydro characters like Xingqiu, Kokomi, and Barbara may apply the wet state to themselves or party members through their skills, this could be a point of contention for gamers who plan to utilize them against Dendro opponents. Overgrowth should not be viewed as an unjust response. Its damage is akin to getting Electro-Charged damage in the rain or Burning DMG while battling with Pyro characters on grass.

However, most players are more concerned by Dendro’s lack of reaction to Cryo, Geo, and Anemo. If Geo (rock) and Anemo (wind) don’t react to Dendro, it’s understandable (grass). Cryo, on the other hand, is a key component of the game, and Dendro’s inability to react to it would be a major setback.

Travelers, on the other hand, are optimistic that Intensified will work as an indirect Electro Boost. The response appears to be rather potent, and it may finally allow Electro characters to play DPS roles in Genshin Impact.
