Albedo, the Chief Alchemist of the Knights of Favonius is trying to make Geo a viable element, know his element, weapon, artifacts, story quest, build, banner in Genshin Impact
Albedo’s talents, especially his great Elemental Skill, make him a top choice for any team seeking for a sub-DPS or Burst Carry, however he may also be used as a formidable primary DPS if the mood strikes you. Albedo came back in Genshin Impact on November 24.
Genshin Impact 2.3 Update Characters: Albedo Weapon, Build And Banner
The first thing to think about is which weapon to use. To be honest, most 4*+ options with Albedo are very solid – either you get more damage (which is wonderful) or you get lower CDs (which is also amazing), and both routes allow for alternative playstyles. Having saying that, here are a few of the more unique and interesting options:
Summit Shaper
Unsurprisingly, the new weapon featured in the newest Weapon Banner is an amazing powerhouse on Albedo. Summit Shaper’s ATK percent stat and the Golden Majesty weapon ability are highly effective on the alchemist, whether you’re running Albedo as your main DPS or for his Elemental Skill and Burst as a Burst Carry/sub-DPS.
Stronger shields, which are simple to come by because of Albedo’s skills, combined with a shield-powered stacking ATK amp make this weapon worth considering whatever you want to play Albedo, but try to stack Golden Majesty before using his Elemental Skill and Burst.
Festering Desire
Festering Desire is the other new sword that came with Version 1.2, and it works well on Albedo as well. This is a top-tier option for a Burst-focused build, but it’s also a fantastic choice for a mainline DPS build (if only because Albedo has so much DPS built into his Elemental Burst).
Furthermore, considering how powerful and long-lasting Albedo’s Elemental Skill, “Abiogenesis: Solar Isotoma,” is, Festering Desire’s Undying Admiration ability, which increases the DMG and Crit Rate for Albedo’s Elemental Skill, “Abiogenesis: Solar Isotoma,” is great. For Albedo, this ability alone would make this an excellent weapon.
Genshin Impact 2.3 Albedo Artifacts
Archaic Petra, Gladiator’s Finale, and Noblesse Oblige are the three main artefact sets currently being used in Albedo in various configurations.
The two-piece Gladiator’s Finale or Noblesse Oblige with two-piece Archaic Petra are the most balanced options. Because so much of Albedo’s damage is Geo-based, Archaic Petra’s 15 percent Geo DMG buff is a no-brainer, while Gladiator’s Finale’s 18 percent ATK amp versus Noblesse Oblige enabling Albedo’s Elemental Burst Damage gives more consistent damage. Both play styles will work, however Gladiator’s leans more towards a main DPS playstyle, and Noblesse leans more towards a sub-DPS/Burst Carry playstyle.
4-piece Gladiator’s Finale for a high-uptime primary DPS build for Albedo, or 4-piece Noblesse Oblige for more team-utility for a more supportive build are more extreme alternatives.

Genshin Impact 2.3 Albedo Play Patterns And Story Quest
Albedo is a simple – but rewarding – game to play. Depending on your playstyle and build, you’ll want to start with his Elemental Skill, Abiogenesis: Solar Isotoma, before using his Elemental Burst, Right of Progeniture: Tectonic Tide, and then either switch characters or get to basic attacking.
To get the most out of his powers, keep adversaries within the Solar Isotoma Field – and don’t cast his Burst unless the field is active! This ensures that as many Transient and Fatal Blossoms as possible spawn with their associated damage. Solar ISotoma does not require Albedo to be present on the field to work; get switching if you’ve prepared your team for it!
Remember that once Albedo uses his Elemental Burst, “Homuncular Nature” improves party Elemental Mastery for 10s, so you can attempt to set up potent interactions with other team members with that in mind.
Genshin Impact 2.3 Albedo Best Team Mates
In terms of teammates, Albedo gets along pretty smoothly with Zhongli and Ningguang, especially now that the Geo buff for Version 1.3 has been released. Albedo prepares them to be excellent DPS options by increasing their damage and shields, or by allowing him to carry them.
Most non-Geo choices will work well with Albedo, as he adds an AoE, persistent damage field that provides shields via crystallise and delivers teamwide Elemental Mastery via Homuncular Nature. To get the most out of Albedo’s damage via the Elemental Resonance effects, consider using double Pyro. Consider 2x Geo and 2x Pyro when 1.3 arrives for even more of it!
