Genshin Impact Developers Hoyoverse has announced the date for the Genshin Impact Anniversary 2022, along with an exciting new Genshin Impact anime series, know the adaptation release date
It is indeed an exciting time for travelers of Teyvat as update 3.1 livestream has also just concluded. The new update will also bring the arrival of three new playable characters, Candace, Nilou, and Cyno.

The new Update 3.1 will surely bring another fantastic episode with its Arabian Knights atmosphere. Moreover, Update 3.1 will come out on the same day as the game’s 2022 anniversary.
Genshin Impact Anniversary 2022 Date
Hoyoverse have announced the Genshin Impact Anniversary 2022 date as September 28. As of now, developers haven’t announced any events but the game was first released on September 28, 2020.
The game has been out for two years, however some fans are still waiting for the Nintendo Switch version release. The developers on the other hand insist that it isn’t cancelled.
Last year fans around the world celebrated the game’s one-year birthday in 2021 and it was sadly quite disappointing. Fans received some rewards which included a 4-star glider and two fragile resin, along with 800 Primogem.
The first Genshin Impact anniversary rewards were released on September 30th, 2021, two days after the game’s official birthday. Hoyoverse could repeat the process again, but they haven’t announced anything as of now.
Besides the official celebrations, fans also conducted a party on September 23rd to celebrate the artwork from the community.
New Anime Series
As part of the Genshin Impact Anniversary 2022 celebration developers also announced a new anime series of the game.
A number of the game’s English voice actors also delivered speeches about how much the game has meant to them since getting involved. This event concluded with the announcement of a new anime series in collaboration with animation studio, Ufotable.
Ufotbale are credited for the animation in projects such as Code Vein, Demon Blade, and the Tales series.
However, no launch dates or other details have been provided as of now for the anime series. However, interested fans can check out the concept trailer on the game’s YouTube channel to catch a glimpse of the stunning visuals.
