From what HYV has told us so far, 2.7 is only being delayed, with no indication of how this delay affects the rollout of 2.8.
Until we find out otherwise, we have no reason to believe any banner projections have changed, and it's futile to speculate without more information. https://t.co/eA0n7cAA73

Due to the lack of official comment from Hoyoverse’s social media outlets, the delay of Genshin Impact 2.7 has been widely discussed in the community. Users are speculating on the details of the delay, such as how long it will last, how much it would cost, and whether or not there will be any replay banners while they wait.
While many sources state varying times, the common agreement is that players will have to wait 21 days for the next version to be released. This will give fans plenty of time that can save Primogems, it will be a long time before there is a highlighted 5-star to wish on.
While it would make sense to have a rerun banner in place throughout this time to fill the gap, it may cause future banner schedules to be messed up. Fans have expressed their desire for particular characters, such as Kaedehara Kazuha, to return, and this could be an excellent time for them to do so.
The 2.7 patches were supposed to arrive all-around the beginning of May, but it looks like they won’t be available until the beginning of June at the earliest.
Many of the game’s events will be pushed back, and the story’s planned order may be thrown off, leading to some substantial alterations in the future.
Players will have to wait for a more specific response on the content modification plan, the release date of the next update, and compensation for the downtime, according to the only official statement provided so far. This official statement is expected to be released soon, and fans would want to keep an eye out for it.
However, as of now a release date looks like for the beginning of June with the livestream around May 20.
