Genshin Impact 2.4 update Leaks always come up with more the merrier things for players, and this time the latest leak is related to the Junk Chest
With the 2.4 update, Genshin Impact will feature Enkanomiya. The new location will feature various new mechanics as well as a new chest kind, so players are eager to explore it.
‘Junk’ chests were recently discovered by leakers during the beta testing of Genshin Impact 2.4. Everything you need to know about this new chest kind is right here.
New Junk Chest In Genshin Impact 2.4 Update Leaks Will Reward Mora
It has been verified, thanks to beta testers, that Enkanomiya will be a large territory. It features around 200 chests and numerous teleport locations. It does not, however, have any Remarkable chests that provide Serenitea pot blueprints, unlike the Tsurumi island.
The Enkanomiya region, on the other hand, has a new type of chest known as ‘Junk’ chests. These chests are uniformly distributed throughout the region, and players that open them will receive Mora.
Regarding junk chests, they're more akin to random "Investigate" spots you'd find around the map and which drop random stuff.
You won't be baited by them from afar, nor will you find them where usual chests would traditionally spawn (e.g. monster camps)

Mora rewards will be distributed at random, with participants receiving either 10,000 or 15,000 Mora.
Junk chests in Enkanomiya, according to 46cba on Twitter, aren’t found in common places like monster camps. To acquire the rewards, travellers must locate them in discrete places and ‘Investigate.’
How Many Chests Are Available
The growth of the Sacred Sakura tree’s level is one of the main reasons why people are enthusiastic for Genshin Impact version 2.4. The tree is now maxed out at Lv. 40, but with the forthcoming update, it will be upgraded to Lv. 50.
Naturally, levelling up the tree necessitates the collection of Electro Sigils, which may be obtained by unlocking chests. Casual gamers will be pleased to see that Enkanomiya contains over 280 chests, whereas sweating players have already hunted down every chest in Inazuma and heaped more sigils.
There are around 82 Junk chests in the approaching region, with 200 chests belonging to the Common, Exquisite, Precious, and Luxurious categories.
The Electro Sigil store in Inazuma will also be available following the release of patch 2.4, thus looking for chests and exploring Enkanomiya will be worthwhile.
Overall, the Genshin Impact 2.4 update appears to be jam-packed with material. Players can wish for Arataki Itto and Gorou through the current character event wish banner until the live stream for the impending content takes place.
