Fans have swarmed Twitter with several amusing memes after Obi-Wan Kenobi’s conclusion contained the classic sentence ‘Hello There’ in the most sincere way.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is an American television drama produced for the Disney+ streaming video service. It is a Star Wars film that stars Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, repeating his role from the original trilogy. The series features Kenobi as he goes out to recover the abducted Princess Leia (Vivien Lyra Blair) from the Galactic Empire 10 years after the incident of Star Wars: Episode III – Vengeance of the Sith (2005). Culminating in a showdown with his old protégé Darth Vader (Hayden Christensen).
The concept began as a spin-off feature produced by Hossein Amini and helmed by Stephen Daldry. And it was redesigned as a television series after Solo: A Star Wars Story’s commercial disaster (2018). McGregor’s role was announced in August 2019, while Deborah Chow was appointed to oversee a couple of weeks later. The series was supposed to begin shooting in July 2020.
However, it was temporarily suspended in January 2020 when Lucasfilm was unhappy with both the screenplays. In April 2020, Joby Harold was hired to script the program and act as a writer. And executive producer with Chow, McGregor, Kathleen Kennedy, and Michelle Rejwan. In March 2021, more auditioning was conducted.
Obi-Wan Kenobi’s first two programs debuted on May 27, 2022. The next four episodes are published on a weekly basis till June 22. The series got excellent reviews, with critics praising McGregor & Christensen’s appearances as well as Chow’s production, but criticizing the narrative.
