The rivalry between Tajpuriya and Gogi dates back to their college days. They were close friends, but tensions developed between them when they backed different candidates for the vice president in the student elections. While Gogi teamed up with other gangsters, Tajpuriya began developing relationships with criminals like Neeraj Bawana, Naveen Bali, Sunil Rathi, and Cheenu.

After Tillu Tajpuriya’s close friend ‘Raju Chor’ was killed by the Gogi gang on January 21, 2015, the rivalry between the two gangs grew more heated. The gang battle between the two groups grew more violent, and both sides’ members were killed repeatedly. Sumit and Devendra Pradhan of Tajpuriya’s gang and Arun Commando and Niranjan, Master of Gogi’s gang, were murdered.

In 2016, Tillu Tajpuriya and Vikas, one of his colleagues, were detained in connection with the murder of Niranjan from the Rohtak village of Ghuskani. Before his arrest, the local police had offered a reward of Rs. 50,000 for anyone with information about Tajpuriya’s whereabouts. The gang rivalry persisted, and in 2018, four people were killed in a gang fight between the two groups in Burari, Delhi.
