Gandhada Gudi, the latest movie from Appu, is dominating the box office in its native Karnataka to the point where it has surpassed Kantara, the state’s biggest blockbuster, in terms of daily revenue.

The Kannada movie Gandhada Gudi is directed by Amoghavarsha JD, a national award-winning filmmaker who also appears in the movie. He is seen alongside Puneeth and its producer, Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar. It is produced under the auspices of Mudskipper and PRK Production.
The Movie Suprpassed The 20 Cr Earning On The Sixth Day
After a tremendous opening weekend, the tiny movie is performing quite well over the workweek. On Day 5, its earnings showed an enormous surge. On its first Tuesday, it was anticipated to earn over 4 crores, an increase of more than 137% over the day before.
The fifth day of Gandhada Gudi saw massive advance bookings; on Tuesday, it brought in Rs. 1.24 crores, almost four times as much as the fourth day. Pre-sales generate Rs 16L for day 6 on Wednesday, which is a constant number although on the low side.
Day 7 Collection
With this, “Gandhada Gudi’s” overall revenue crossed the 20 crore threshold. Early indications indicate that it has surpassed the 20.65 crore net milestone as of Day 7 (Thursday).
Early trade estimates stated that it might be less than 1 crore on Wednesday, bringing the total domestic take to above 20 crores net. The movie starring Appu would then aim for the 25 crore milestone and finish with 28 to 30 crore nett.
At the box office, Gandhada Gudi had a successful first six days, grossing over Rs. 20.52 crore in India. Here are the 7th day’s box office earnings and occupancy for Gandhada Gudi. On its seventh day, Gandhada Gudi earned 0.65 crores (net) in India (early estimates).
On Thursday, November 3, 2022, Gandhada Gudi had an overall Kannada occupancy rate of 8.83%.
Three language versions of GG were available in theatres: English, Hindi, and Kannada. The movie was released in 250 theatres in the domestic market and is now tax-free in Karnataka. According to reports, GG had a budget of 10–12 crores.
