Recap of Chapter 54 of Gachiakuta
The chapter gives us a better understanding of who Zodil is and what he is trying to accomplish. It also provides a little more information about what may have caused him to alter, although we are just speculating at this point.
As opposed to Corvus, who was preparing to gather his troops and head there as we left off in the previous chapter, Zodil is here displaying his true strategist mindset. We also have another moment with the Goblin and Yonkers moments, which were so bizarre that they actually occurred.
It was also clever in a way because Zodil was using it as the foundation upon which he was attempting to win Rudou over. He continued to describe the situation as one in which he was unsure of what was “normal,” telling Rudou.
It is strange when we consider this since I get the impression that Kei Urana is not attempting to reveal everything. His parents dragged the caregiver, much like Rudou had a caregiver; this may also be the commonality they both have.
