Futala Lake it is located 6 km north of the city center and is believed to be more than 200 years old. The Futala Lake was built by Raja Bhonsle and is spread over 60 acres. The lake is also fully surrounded by green forest on three sides and Chowpatty on the other side.

The fountain show at this amazing lake will begin on 15th August and a seating capacity of 4000 will be incorporated into the lake premises. 11000 vehicles can be easily parked in the newly built lake parking. Apart from this, an 11-story food court is also under construction. The budget for the making of the new areas for the fountain show was close to INR 30 crore.

1. The Four high masts have been installed around the lake for adequate illumination.
2. The lake has a total of three floating fountains two-colored fountains of 15 feet each and one white and 100 feet each.
3. In the second phase of the beautification, the road auger has been cleared and interlocking paving blocks have been installed on the road from Hanuman Mandir to Futala Lake and on the triangular land in front of the temple.
5. Under this, about 1300 meters of road have been constructed to remove and beautify the parking problem that came due to the famous Hanuman temple.
6. Built by the Bhonsle kings of Nagpur, this lake is also well known for its colorful fountains.
7. The lake is covered by the forest on three sides and has a beautiful beach on the fourth side.
