Full Swing will feature some of the biggest names in golf, including Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler. The docuseries aims to capture what really happened behind the scenes last year when the PGA faced a competition from LIV Golf a new Saudi-backed rival organisation.
Netflix Full Swing release date
Netflix have confirmed the release date for Full Swing season 1 as Wednesday, 15 February.
The immersive documentary will follow the PGA Tour in 2022, covering the Masters Tournament, PGA Championship, US Open, The Open Championship and the FedExCup Playoffs.

Netflix have confirmed that Full Swing will consist of 8 episodes. Through the 8 episodes, Full Swing will reveal what it really takes to succeed at the highest level of men’s professional golf. The show looks to capture the life of the players on and off the course, showcasing their rivalries, personal sacrifices, and families.

American professional golfer Justin Thomas who is currently the world No.9 also appears on the show. He has had a well-known friendly rivalry with Spieth ever since the two first met aged 13. Justin has won so far won 2 PGA Championships throughout his career.
Collin Morikawa
Collin is a young American professional golfer who caught everyone’s attention in the PGA Tour scene following three wins in his first 13 months. He also went on to win a PGA Championship in 2020.
Brooks Koepka
Brooks Koepka is a 32-year-old professional golfer who is currently the world No.66. He is also one of the most high-profile players to shift from the PGA to LIV Golf back in 2022.
Scottie Scheffler
Scottie is the current World No.2 who has had an incredible rise to the top. The 26-year-old won a series of title culminating with his win in the 2022 Masters. He won past Rory McIlroy to claim the gold.
Ian Poulter
Ian is a 47-year-old Englishman who gets a lot of recognition thanks to his eccentric fashion sense on the golf course. Despite the attraction he brings to himself, Poulter has never won a major title. Back in 2022 Ian shifted decided to join LIV Golf.
Rory McIlroy
Rory McIlroy is the current World No.1 and arguably the most recognizable star in Full Swing. The 33-year-old Northern Irishman is one of the most influential stars in golf aside from Tiger Woods. Moreover, McIlroy has played an important an outspoken role in his criticism towards LIV Golf, the new PGA rival.
Dustin Johnson
Dustin is an American professional golfer who was the World No.1 for 64 weeks back in 2017 and 2018. His most recent title was the Masters in 2021. Dustin’s wife Paulina is the daughter of Wayne Gretzky an ice hockey icon.
Tony Finau
Tony Finau is famous for being the first ever player of Tongan or American Samoan heritage to play is the PGA Tour. He is another golf style icon, sporting a fresh kit from Nike every time he enters the course.
